One would think that the rescue of these innocent civilians, abducted from a music festival, would be something the world would celebrate. Nova was not a military base or a West Bank settlement. It was not a hub of ultranationalist fervor. It was a rave. It was a place young people went to dance and celebrate life. Peace and love were the only political statements the festival stood for. But days after the rescue, American citizens wrapped in keffiyehs marched down the streets of New York City to protest outside an exhibit commemorating the lives of those killed at Nova.
